“A dreamlike experience.”

This luxurious home is incredibly nice - we had a wonderful ski week vacation here! It has everything you could want - gourmet kitchen, three fireplaces, hot tub, jacuzzi, flatcreens, WiFi, Netflix, books, games, bunk beds for kids, etc. The forest view out of the huge windows in the family room is beautiful. The family that owns it spends a lot of time here and put a lot of love and thoughtful touches into the place. The backyard has a fantastic sledding hill when it snows. Mike was a great host - responsive and kind. Convenient location just two blocks off Hwy 50 and a couple minutes from town, but secluded in 30 acres of conserved forest. Would love to return.

“Everything we wanted and more!”

My family had a great time here!!!! Upon arrival Mike met us there for a tour of the property and amenities this place has to offer. The grounds exceeded our expectations with so many options of fun things to do. From the hot tub and sauna, to the trampoline for our daughter, to the foosball we enjoyed as a family,to the spacious kennel that my dog had a blast in!!!! Whatever you want to do, it's there for you. And after a snowstorm we woke up in the morning to see our driveway cleaned out for us. Now That's great customer service!!!! “Perfect!”

We came to South Lake Tahoe for a ski holiday and we are really pleased with our choice of accommodations. Apart from being a very, clean, SMART (Hi to Alexa!), comfortable house, it was really conveniently located for a Heavenly resort, casinos and shops. Our kids loved that they could have their own space after a day of skiing and everything what we needed was provided by Mike, the manager. He was extremely helpful. He would refer you to the best restaurants, offers you the best rental ski shops, organizes a snowmobile trip etc. Thanks Mike! The new Finnish sauna and the hot tub were a real bonus and we enjoyed them apres skis. We will definitely consider this house next time.

“Unforgettable.”

We had the most comfortable stay at the Pines. Mike was such a gracious host. When I told him we'd like to get a Christmas tree but don't have a stand for it he brought us a brand new stand and some Christmasy home goods to make our stay even more comfortable. Plus, we left some walking poles there and he sent them back to us at no charge. We were so impressed with how he walked us through the house and responded to our questions promptly. The house was clean, had the latest technology and nicely decorated; it had everything we needed and more. The location was perfect- quick to skiing at Heavenly, the village and casinos. Mostly it was cozy-- we had a big Christmas dinner there and the open floor plan was perfect for it! The kids loved the foosball table in the loft and the backyard for snowball fights! This house is definitely a favorite and we all talked about coming back next year! Thanks Mike!

“Stellar, professional service.”

What a great house. We will definitely be back! The owner has thought of everything for you! Great location and just a relaxing home to hang out in. We stayed in the master bedroom and the bed was very comfy, the bathroom is a little small but nicely re-done. Mike the owner will send you an email right before you stay with so much great info about the area and it also includes a shopping list if you would like him to stock the fridge for you! I am very rarely impressed with customer service but this homeowner has GOT IT DOWN! Cheers!

“4 thumbs way up from my 2 sons!”

We had a wonderful time at the Pines on Pioneer. The home accommodated 8 of us just fine. The kiddos (all 4 of them) loved the upstairs loft area with the Foosball table and lounge space just for them. All the amenities were just what we needed. Best part is that we didn't have to go far for a place to play in the snow. The backyard had tons of space and a hill for sledding. We had a great time!
